Raccoon and Cookie meets National Geographic Magazine

National Geographic just published one of my raccoon images its September issue.  I made the image while staying at a bed and breakfast in Astoria, Oregon. The owner of the B+B regularly fed her visitors cookies and so they had become very brave.  This is my first image to be published in Nat Geo, hopefully not the last!

I was just looking through that issue yesterday and that image stood out to me (myself a northwesterner), the cuteness of the raccoon contrasted with personal knowledge of how destructive and vicious they can be when acclimated to humans… I had no idea it was by one of my favorite photographers

Corey, how can I order a print of this brilliant photo? It isn’t listed on the National Geographic Magazine site.

Please let me know how I can order a print of this. It would be a great Christmas present for someone.

    Thank you.
